Why choose between a strong decorative object and the freedom of a nomadic light? With Sybil, I wanted to create a piece with character. A portable lamp designed for those who like light to have a real presence, capable of structuring space wherever you take it.
The spirit of creation
The anchor point of this model is its pagoda shape. An extremely precise framework and "sewing" work that gives the lampshade its curved silhouette, both vintage and resolutely modern. Made of Indian cotton and silk, it is lined with black silk crepe that diffuses the light for a hushed and mysterious atmosphere. The black fringes add the final touch: a play of movement and fluidity that highlights its architecture.
A nomadic and artisanal piece
Sybil doesn't stay in its corner. You pick it up, move it, hang it on a hook, or casually place it on a piece of furniture. It is made to live at the rhythm of your interior. Like every piece that comes out of my workshop in Lyon, this portable lamp is entirely handcrafted. No industrial series here, but time, precision, and the charm of artisanal imperfection that makes each piece unique.
Custom-made & Order:
